Hong Kong has the first skyscraper church in the world. The Wesleyan Methodist International Church occupies the entire space of the building, with a chapel on the top floor and stunning views of the city.
The building, 21 floors high, is located in a densely populated area of the city.
The 11,000-square-meter church includes a lobby, a sanctuary, a chapel, 8 floors of denomination offices, a nursery, a playroom, a choir rehearsal room and 2 prayer rooms. Also in the building on 3 floors are living quarters for church employees and parishioners.
Of course, this is not the first skyscraper in which the church is located, but the first religious organization, which occupies an entire high-rise building. A feature of the church was the prayer hall, which is located on the very top floor with panoramic windows.
