Airbnb's online booking platform offers rental apartments for one of the residences of the rulers of Jaipur (India). Such an opportunity arose thanks to the 21-year-old ruler of Jaipur, the Maharaja of Sawaya Padmanabh Singh, who allowed to rent rooms in one of the magnificent palaces – Gudliya Suite. The palace is also called the "Pink City", and since 1722 it serves as the home for the royal family of India.
The territory of the palace is made in the traditional Indian style, with many cozy courtyards. Each apartment has its own kitchen, bathroom and access to the pool.
Prices for apartments start at $ 8 thousand per night. The royal family will donate all the proceeds to the charity foundation of Princess Diyi Kumari, which helps residents and craftsmen of Rajasthan.
"I am happy to work with Airbnb, and I am pleased that my family and I can decorate the lives of travelers from around the world with the splendor of Rajasthan," says Maharaja.
