Despite the fact that it is only November in the yard, we decided to take a short summary of the trends in wedding makeup set by 2019. And we compiled them according to the beauty images of the brightest stellar and royal weddings this year – both Russian and foreign. We present to you charming brides who should take beauty lessons for their own wedding makeup.

Daria Klyukina

In early October, all the attention of secular Moscow was directed to the Villa Balbiano on Lake Como. One of the most beautiful weddings of this year took place there – the ceremony Daria Klyukina, a 25-year-old model and actress, winner of the Bachelor show, and Vladimir Chopov, a 39-year-old top manager of the Gazprom-Media media holding. And now let’s take a closer look at Daria’s makeup – one of the ideal options for a natural make-up. To accentuate your eyes too, use black eyeliner and mascara, and apply some powdery pink eyeshadow on the eyelids – a similar shade used for the lip gloss. You can also use an eyebrow shade of a suitable shade to tint your brows as well. Use a flat brush to draw a path, and then shade evenly inside it. Use light, subtle products for tone (CC cream will do just fine), and apply primer on cheeks for a little shine.

Sophie Turner

Now back to the main foreign wedding this summer – the ceremony of the star of the series “Game of Thrones” Sophie Turner and musician Joe Jonas. As befits a stellar wedding, the celebration took place in the strictest secrecy on a French estate Chateau De Tourreau.

This autumn turned out to be rich in weddings in Russian show business. One of them – ceremony of journalist and public figure Ksenia Sobchak and director Konstantin Bogomolov. We asked the organizer and director of the event about the details of the celebration, and also learned the details from the wedding decorator.

Now let’s turn our eyes to the bride’s makeup. If you also have blue eyes, like Ksenia Sobchak, a light smokey ice will look very impressive: remember the space between the eyelashes along the lower and upper eyelids with a black soft pencil, and then blend it. Apply a pale pink or flesh shade to the movable part of the upper eyelid. To keep your makeup monochrome and not draw all the attention to yourself, use lip gloss to match. As you probably already guessed, the blush should be the same color.

Ellie Goulding

The wedding of the English singer Ellie Golding took place on the last day of the summer of 2019. According to all the canons of English traditions, at the wedding ceremony, Ellie appeared in a closed Chloe dress (later she changed her outfit three more times) and with a discreet, but aristocratic make-up. It seemed that the bride was without makeup at all, but in the photographs with natural light, we still saw it. This is a tone of minimum density that does not cover freckles, matte lip makeup, most likely applied with a pink pencil, light blush and black mascara that emphasizes brown eyes. The only caveat – we would advise shading the eyebrows with shadows less intensively.

Charlotte Casiraghi

Thanks to her brilliant genes, Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi may, in principle, not use cosmetics, but the status of a princely wedding still obliges. For a wedding with film producer Dmitry Rassam, she chose light makeup with an emphasis on lips. It will not be difficult to repeat this: we make the eyelashes brighter with the help of mascara, apply pale pink shadows on the eyelids with a gradient (the closer to the eyelashes, the brighter the color), and on the lips – a brighter shade of pink that enhances the natural color of your lips. A sweet addition to this humble composition is a natural blush.

Christina Murad

Note the next trend – the more luxurious the dress, the more modest the makeup should be, so as not to overload the image. Conversely, the more minimalistic your outfit, the more room for imagination in makeup. Some of the most luxurious wedding dresses are by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. In July, the designer hosted a lavish three-day wedding in Beirut for his son, Elie Saab Jr., and Christina Murad. The bride’s dress was created by the future father-in-law – and we have not seen such a dress shining with splendor and luxury for a long time. With such a dress, make-up should be as simple as possible, Christina preferred a make-up in flesh tones, echoing the golden dress. But I didn’t forget about a light accent on the eyes – black mascara and shaded dark brown shadows will help to achieve the same effect.
