Two looks with red lipstick: fall 2020 trend
Wedding stylist Ksenia Knyazeva told Wedding how to make some actual looks using red lipstick.
– In creating this image, I had several tasks. Firstly, makeup and hairstyle had to be as relevant as possible and in line with the latest trends. Secondly, it was necessary to take into account the change of dress by the bride and two different parts of the wedding day program.
To create a topical make-up, I took the fashion shows as a basis. One of the fall trends is bright lips, burgundy, scarlet shades, which are suitable for both dark-skinned brunettes and light-skinned platinum blondes. We can see such shades of lipsticks at Givenchy, Hermes, Oscar de la Renta shows. I decided to focus on red lipstick. In eye makeup, I used a light brown shade of shadows and abandoned the arrows so as not to overload the image and keep the softness and depth of the look.
Since the wedding day began with the ceremonial part at the hotel, the image had to be appropriate – chic and classic. She paired the red lipstick with a light wave in her hair for a Hollywood and red carpet effect.
After that, the newlyweds ran away from the guests, walked together to the places of their first dates, went to the restaurant where they met, drank champagne, laughed, threw confetti and danced in the streets – spending time as they wanted. The makeup had to look trendy and modern with a short dress and not look heavy on a walk. We lightened the look by tucking the hair into a sleek bun that is now topical. Thus, the emphasis remained on the red lipstick, but the image itself already looked laconic and youthful.
