Wedding stylist Ksenia Knyazeva told what makeup and hairstyle trends brides should pay attention to in the wedding season 2021.

With each new season, the trend towards naturalness takes a leading position. Despite the fact that the latest fashion shows were full of colors, nude makeup is a trend that remains relevant from year to year. To create it, it is important to pay great attention to the preparation and development of the skin: be sure to moisturize the skin well before applying makeup, choose a light foundation to create a weightless coverage on the skin.

Another trend that stays with us in 2021 is monochrome makeup. This is the use of identical shades for lips and cheeks and eyelids. For this look, I used the same powdery pink shade on my lips and cheeks. Thanks to this, the makeup has acquired a beautiful watercolor look. I applied makeup with NARS products, which did an excellent job. For this shooting, I refused to use shadows, as I wanted to create the most aristocratic and sophisticated image, but in order to maintain the harmony of shades in makeup, I applied the same shade to the crease of the eyelid that I used for cheeks and lips.

When working with hair, it was important for me to achieve naturalness, maintain mobility, and not weigh down the hair with styling. To keep my hair work in line with the spring / summer 2021 trends, I looked at the looks from the Dior and Chloe shows. At the Dior ready-to-wear spring-summer 2021 show, all models were presented with a straight parting without volume, the hair was gathered in a careless low bun or left loose, the side strands were tied behind the ears. A similar variation was also present in the Chloe show. I decided that this is what you need for a look for shooting, as it will be relevant, fashionable, commercial and suitable for brides at the same time.
