Ralph Lauren has revealed new details of the creation of the grandiose (I can’t call it any other way, it’s so good) Priyanka Chopra’s wedding dress, which she wore to her wedding with Nick Jonas on December 1 last year. Recall that the couple had several ceremonies – one according to Indian traditions for the bride’s side, the second according to Christian traditions for the groom (Priyanka appeared on her in a Ralph Lauren dress).

On the personal website of the RL Mag brand, a note appeared that Priyanka asked to embroider eight special words on an airy drink made of light fabric, among them “hope”, “compassion”, the name of the groom, the bride’s parents, a phrase from the Hindu mantra “Om namah Shivaya”, as well as the date of the wedding, which are located on the hem. The word “family” was embroidered on the right wrist, and the word “love” was made of ivory over the heart. Also, a piece of lace was sewn into the dress from an outfit that Nick’s mother wore at her own wedding.

Priyanka’s wedding dress was created by 15 craftsmen and was decorated with 32,000 mother-of-pearl sequins, 5,600 beads and 11,632 Swarovski crystals.
