Princess Eugenia’s wedding: remember how it was

Last year, we were lucky to see two whole weddings of British monarchs: after Prince Harry, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth Eugene and her longtime lover, wine businessman Jack Brooksbang, became engaged. The solemn wedding ceremony was traditionally held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on October 12, 2018. We decided to remember how the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbang went and, of course, congratulations to the couple on their anniversary.

The main entrance of the chapel was decorated with autumn flowers and maple branches. Evgenia appeared before the public exactly as befits a real princess. For the ceremony, the bride chose an outfit from the British design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos. A luxurious dress made of dense jacquard with a train and a V-neck, embroidered with symbolic patterns in the form of a thistle, shamrock, rose and ivy (a tribute to the family and ancestors of Eugenia), fit perfectly to the figure, giving the bride a stately and noble look. The image was complemented by jewelry: earrings with emeralds (a gift from the groom) and the Greville emerald kokoshnik tiara by the Boucheron jewelers, which for a hundred years of its existence has never appeared at public events.

By the way, Eugenia is the first British princess to abandon the veil, but this did not make her image less harmonious. The asymmetrical bridal bouquet was assembled from lilies of the valley, white roses, stephanotis flowers, blue thistle and ivy twigs. Among the many wedding guests, all members of the British royal family, actors, musicians and eminent persons could be seen.
