Charlotte Casiraghi got married: in a Yves Saint Laurent dress
You’ve probably already missed royal weddings? A year has passed since the ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie got married last fall. But not only the British Kingdom pleases with luxurious weddings – on June 1 in the Principality of Monaco, the wedding ceremony of the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi, took place.
For 32-year-old Charlotte, this was the first wedding; 37-year-old French film producer Dmitry Rassam became her chosen one. The couple have been together since 2017, last fall they had a son, Balthazar, so the ceremony was postponed to the summer of 2019.
Despite the royal status of the ceremony and distinguished guests (almost all representatives of the Grimaldi princely house were present at the wedding), the ceremony was rather modest. Charlotte managed to change two outfits. The first dress for the civil ceremony is a mini dress from Yves Saint Laurent in silver lace with three bows. The second for the celebration itself is a white outfit with bare shoulders, which the bride added with a family heirloom – a Cartier necklace worn by Grace Kelly herself. This is a wedding gift from a Hollywood diva.
Dmitry also had to change – his friends jokingly threw the newly-made husband into the pool. So the wedding was quite fun, despite the royal ceremony.
