Zen territory: at the Capri Palace

Victoria Roschaninova, beauty expert and head of the Kraftway clinic, about the best place on earth and a unique program for tired legs, after which wings grow behind your back.

The only point on the world map where I am ready to return again and again is the island of Capri in Italy, whose beauty and detachment from the surrounding noisy world has made more than one generation of Russian and European aristocracy fall in love with itself. “An emerald framed in the Gulf of Naples,” Maxim Gorky wrote about it. Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn spent time here, at different times the island was considered their home by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Ivan Bunin, Alexander Dumas, Oscar Wilde and Winston Churchill. My latest discovery is the exquisite boutique hotel Capri Palace, located in the most fantastically beautiful part of the island, not far from the town of Anacapri. In a place where it is especially easy to breathe, where, against the background of huge rocks, any problems seem small and insignificant, and worries and worries recede like the ebb tide.

The island’s most secular hotel, with its interiors reminiscent of an 18th century Neapolitan palazzo, offers more than just excellent service. Being there, you seem to plunge into another dimension and begin to look at the world with completely different eyes. Exhibits of contemporary art are scattered everywhere, so that at any point of the territory the feeling of walking through a real museum does not leave: sculptures, paintings, installations can be found at every step. For example, in the lobby of the hotel there is a chair in the style of the era of Louis XVI, and in the suites there are works by Andy Warhol and Wassily Kandinsky.

Foot School program

The special pride of the hotel is the Capri Beauty Farm by Mytha Spa medical spa under the guidance of Professor, MD. Francesco Canonaco.

After years of research, he developed and patented the exclusive Foot School wellness program. Its main goal is to relieve chronic fatigue, restore blood circulation and prevent varicose veins. The treatment is based on various applications with clay, followed by the use of cooling dressings containing a medicinal formula of plant substances that have a beneficial effect on the walls of blood vessels and venous outflow. After the bandage, it is the turn of therapy in pools with cold and hot water: the temperature ranges from 18 to 40 degrees. To enhance the effect, a manual lymphatic drainage massage is shown, removing toxins and excess fluid.

You can enroll in school from spring to autumn, there are no contraindications for it, and the effect is noticeable even after one session. Although ideally, you need to set aside time for a seven-day course at least once a year.

I would like to note a serious holistic approach to improving the body: before classes, the nutritionists of the center conduct a special metabolic test, based on the results of which they select an individual balanced diet for each guest. By the way, dietary meals under this program are prepared in the L’Olivo restaurant with two Michelin stars. This means that it is not only healthy, but also incredibly tasty. Verified personally.
