The real summer has finally arrived. Usually, the main wedding season began with him, but this year, alas, for good reason, many brides and grooms, including celebrity couples, decided to postpone their ceremonies indefinitely. Nevertheless, we are not discouraged and continue to be inspired by the summer weddings of celebrities of yesteryear. We have compiled an inspiring selection of such celebrations for you.

Chiara Ferragni and Fedez

Chiara Ferragni is an Italian fashion blogger and founder of a personalized brand, known far beyond the borders of her homeland. Her weddings with the popular rapper Fedez have become a kind of standard of the ceremony of representatives of pop culture for millennials and future generations. The couple’s ceremony took place in Sicily, where a few days before the celebration, the guests were delivered by a private, customized plane – with the names of the bride and groom. And already at the gangway, guests were greeted with life-size puppets in the form of Chiara and Fedez. The fashion house Dior specially made a series of wedding dresses for Chiara: white lace for the formal part, beige corset for a party and its mini version for incendiary dances. Towards evening, another surprise awaited the guests – a large-scale fireworks display, which could be watched from the amusement park, which was also available to guests.

David and Victoria Beckham

The ceremony of one of the main couples of Great Britain – David and Victoria Beckham – took place on July 4, 1999. Despite the popularity of the couple, the ceremony was very modest and family: only 29 people closest to the couple were on the guest list. For the wedding ceremony, Victoria chose a dress from Vera Wang. More precisely, how she chose – she herself drew a sketch of her dream dress and asked the designer to bring it to life. According to media reports, the price of such a dress was $ 100 thousand, which for the 1990s was a very impressive amount. Graceful Manolo Blahnik shoes complemented the bride’s look. David, contrary to established traditions, appeared before the altar in a snow-white dress coat, emphasizing the image of Victoria.

Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo

In July, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo, the youngest son, will celebrate their five-year marriage anniversary Princess Caroline Grimaldi and an Italian aristocrat whom he met while studying in Milan. Despite the fact that Pierre is far from being in the first positions in line to the throne of the Principality of Monaco (he occupies eighth place in the line of succession), his wedding ceremony was worthy of the title of royal. The celebration lasted two weeks, one part of it was held on the secluded Italian island of Isolino di San Giovanni, which belongs to an old and noble family of the bride.

Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild

The heirs of two influential families – Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild – celebrate the fifth anniversary of their marriage this summer. In July 2015, their ceremony was held at Kensington Palace (yes, in the same one). For the ceremony, Niki chose her favorite Italian brand Valentino. The dress was specially designed for the bride. A snow-white lace dress cost 80 thousand dollars. Nika’s wedding dress consisted of three shades of guipure and was decorated with crystals. Particularly eye-catching is the train in the shape of an ideal semicircle. Its length is equal to three meters. The veil, created by designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, was made from vintage lace.
