
Prince William and Kate Middleton: the couple celebrates the ninth wedding anniversary
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary – on April 29, 2011, Prince William and Kate Middleton formalized their relationship. “Wedding of the Century”, as it was dubbed in the press, took place at Westminster Abbey.
The wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William was truly royal. 1900 guests were invited to the wedding of William and Kate. The wedding dress for Kate was designed by London-based designer Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. It was made of satin, the bodice and skirt were decorated with handmade lace. The veil was held by the Cartier tiara, which the Queen had lent to the bride. Kate’s bouquet consisted of myrtle, lilies of the valley, carnations and hyacinths. Shane Connolly made it.
