Oversize

Coats and jackets “from someone else’s shoulder”, it seems, firmly and permanently settled in our wardrobes. Following them, sweaters, sweatshirts and cardigans increased in volume, and now the time has come for hats.

Color blocking

This fall, designers suggest recalling the era of the 20s: dresses with a low waistline, straight fit, mini or maxi length – flirty models, richly decorated with decor – fringe, rhinestones, bugles, embroidery, sequins, lace flowers and fur.

Plaid coats

Oversize has been at the top of fashion trends for several seasons in a row. In the next fall-winter season, cocoon coats that were so fashionable last fall were replaced by spacious and almost oversized plaid coats that wrap the figure like a soft and cozy home plaid. They are distinguished by a laconic cut, exaggerated volume, baggy silhouette and neutral colors.

Cape

A free sleeveless cape coat has come to us from time immemorial. But, nevertheless, it took root in the modern fashionable wardrobe and even entered the top trends. Designers offer fashionistas a cape as an alternative to a regular coat – demi-season or winter. The collections include a lot of casual models from tweed, wool and cashmere, and furs, and evening capes from silk, satin and lace.

Astrakhan

In the cold season, fur traditionally occupies a leading position in the list of trends. The fall-winter 2014-2015 season was no exception. And the most popular fur was astrakhan fur. Designers made of it not only coats and jackets, but also dresses, skirts, hats, bags and tops. This silky fur was often used for finishing clothes and shoes, and as inserts. Moreover, the color of astrakhan fur this season can be anything – both natural color, and completely unexpected: pink, scarlet, pale lilac, bright blue.

Knee high boots

High boots, which once faithfully served the cavalrymen and infantrymen, today do not at all look like military shoes. Made of soft leather, suede or even textiles, they have risen on high heels and have become one of the main trends of the fall-winter season.

Jersey

The most cozy and comfortable trend of the season. Knitted items unexpectedly took a leading place in fashion collections: some designers demonstrated whole blocks of knitwear and knitted total look. The expected sweaters, cardigans, pullovers and knitted dresses were joined by baggy pants and tight-fitting leggings, coats, skirts and suits.

Chiffon dresses

Flying, airy dresses made of translucent chiffon smoothly migrated from summer collections to autumn ones. And if evening and cocktail chiffon dresses have always been in fashion, regardless of the season, then office and everyday models have become a pleasant surprise for fashionistas. Designers offer feminine silhouettes, 1920s fashion style, embroidery, appliqués, multi-fabric combinations, layering and fall colors: pale gold, dark coffee, moss green, blue-gray, beige, brown, wilting and classic white and black.

Shine and shimmer

This fall, the fashion for shiny materials and sparkling decor returns again: sequins, crystals, embroidery with beads and silver threads. Fabrics that look like the sky shimmering in the distant glitter of stars, and softly iridescent like polished metal, luxurious brocade and fabrics with 3D effect, polymer materials and reflective decor – the fantasy of designers allows you to shine, shine and sparkle not only on special occasions, but also in gray everyday life.
