Training
Brett and Jeanne adore Italy, and often their dates took place here. The couple is in love with the Italian flavor, cuisine and, of course, wine. Once, traveling in Italy, not far from Florence, among olive groves and vineyards, Brett proposed to Jeanne. There was no doubt that their wedding would take place in Tuscany. The preparation lasted a year and a half, which is fairly standard for planning Italian weddings, and took place remotely since the couple lived in Boston.
As a location, the medieval villa Mangiacane was chosen, the frescoes of which were painted by Michelangelo’s students. The team was from different cities – the organizer from Moscow, destination photographers from Odessa, videographer, decorator, catering and technical support were local. Despite the internationality and different mentality, as well as distance learning, the team worked as a single mechanism, and all the couple’s dreams were realized.
Concept
Since Brett and Zhanna planned an international wedding for 100 guests, it was important in the concept to maintain three points – Italian flavor and style, Russian scale and American traditions. It was important to take into account the peculiarities of both cultures and the host country, the wishes of the bride and groom, and create a comfortable and warm atmosphere for all guests. The decor and exquisite cuisine were responsible for the Italian style and flavor. The views of Tuscany are beautiful scenery in themselves, so the emphasis was placed on pastel colors and fresh flowers. The combination of shades of white, pastel pink and cappuccino in floristry added tenderness to a wedding party, and candles and lights – a cosiness to the atmosphere of dinner.
Ceremony
The ceremony was organized according to all the canons of American traditions. On the eve of the wedding day, her rehearsal took place with all the friends and relatives participating in the ceremony, as well as a pre-wedding dinner for those closest to her. The release of the Wedding Party (the bride and groom’s retinue) at the ceremony also followed all American canons, and the touching speech of the best man and the tender oaths of Brett and Jeanne only intensified the emotions and sense of family unity at this moment.
Program
The wedding day went according to the European scenario, but with a Russian soul. The morning began with unhurried preparation and a bachelorette party with close friends of the bride – laughter, sparkling by the pool, gatherings together. At this time, the groom spent time with friends and his beloved pet Sudoku. The ceremony took place overlooking the olive groves. After the exchange of vows, the guests moved to the pool, to the aperitif zone, where they could have a bite to eat at the food station with Italian cheeses and parma in a buffet format and chat in a pleasant atmosphere. In the evening, everyone enjoyed an atmospheric dinner with course serving dishes in the garden among statues and trees. Merry congratulations of the guests, candles and lights kindled sincere emotions and memories in the hearts of the guests. Even the rain didn’t interfere with the fun, as plan B had been prepared in advance in case of bad weather. The party continued with dancing, an Italian-style cake and a pizza party at midnight.
